Rosh Ha’Ayin near the source of the Yarkon River lies 12 miles inland from the coast, to the east of Tel Aviv in the heart of Israel. In 2004 it became the site of one of Israel’s largest onshore oil fields, producing oil and natural gas. Investment in new infrastructure projects, such as the Migdal Tsedek leisure and cultural center, new housing and commercial projects, parks and sports facilities, are improving the quality of life in this centrally located ‘village city’.
